Not all clean is created equal.
Every product we use and retail is personally vetted by Lanie — for potency, efficacy, and safety. Here's why that matters, and what we actually carry.
Natural isn't always safe.
Synthetic isn't always bad.
It's tempting to sort skincare into "natural, good" and "synthetic, bad" — but that's not how ingredient safety actually works. Poison ivy is completely natural, and it will still put you in urgent care.
What actually matters is the quality and sourcing of an ingredient, how it's formulated, and how it's delivered into the skin. A well-formulated synthetic can outperform a poorly-sourced "natural" version of the same ingredient — and vice versa. We evaluate every product on those terms, not on a buzzword.
Ingredients your body recognizes
We take it a step further by choosing ingredients your body can actually recognize and utilize — not just ones that sit on top of the skin. That's what makes a product results-driven rather than just pleasant to use.
What "non-toxic" really means
To us, non-toxic isn't a marketing word — it means a product won't disrupt your hormones or your health. Every product we carry is chosen with that standard first, results second. You shouldn't have to choose between effective skincare and your long-term health.

Clean beauty, actually vetted
Lanie has spent well over a decade testing "clean beauty" products — she doesn't just carry a brand because it's trending, she's done the homework. Consider her your resource.
