SkinPen Microneedling

Microneedling is the treatment Lanie is known for. It's a collagen-induction therapy that uses SkinPen — the first FDA-cleared microneedling device — to trigger your skin's own repair process, improving texture, tone, and firmness over time.

What is microneedling with SkinPen?

SkinPen creates thousands of controlled, micro-fine channels in the skin. This signals your body to produce new collagen and elastin, gradually renewing skin from within rather than masking concerns on the surface.

Because the treatment works with your body's own healing response, results build session over session — making it one of the most versatile treatments for texture, tone, fine lines, acne scarring, and overall skin resilience.

Why healing matters just as much

Microneedling works by creating a controlled inflammatory response — that response is what triggers your skin to rebuild collagen. Which means the better and more efficiently your body heals, the better your results.

This is where we really stand out. Beyond the treatment itself, we give you the tools and guidance to support your body's natural healing process from within — looking at diet, lifestyle, and supplementation alongside your skin protocol, so results aren't left to chance.

What to expect

Consultation & prep

We start by reviewing your skin history and goals, then cleanse and apply a topical numbing agent so the treatment is comfortable.

Treatment

Using SkinPen, we treat the full face (or targeted areas), adjusting depth to your skin's needs — followed by exosomes or the RDS1 peel if your protocol includes them.

Recovery & results

Expect redness similar to a sunburn for 1–3 days. Collagen remodeling continues for weeks after, with a series of sessions recommended for best results.

The menu

Who it's good for

Microneedling is one of the most versatile treatments on our menu — well suited to acne scarring, fine lines, uneven texture, enlarged pores, and hyperpigmentation, across most skin types.

Results

Because microneedling works with your body's own collagen production, results build gradually and continue to improve in the weeks following treatment. A consultation with Lanie will map out the right series and protocol for your skin.

Common questions

Does it hurt?

A topical numbing agent is applied before treatment, so most clients feel pressure and mild vibration rather than pain. Sensitivity varies by area and depth, but it's well tolerated by most skin types.

What's the downtime?

Expect redness similar to a mild sunburn for 1–3 days. Makeup can typically be worn the next day, and most clients return to normal activities right away.

How many sessions will I need?

Most clients see the best results from a series of 3–6 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, with periodic maintenance treatments after that. Your exact plan depends on your skin and goals.

How soon will I see results?

Some glow and texture improvement is visible within days, but collagen remodeling continues for 4–6 weeks after each session — results build gradually over the full series.

Who should avoid microneedling?

Certain active infections (like cold sores), some skin conditions, pregnancy, and recent isotretinoin use are common reasons to wait. Acne itself is not a contraindication — in fact, it's one of the concerns we treat most often with microneedling. We'll review your history at consultation to make sure it's the right fit for you.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Come in with clean skin, avoid retinoids and exfoliating actives for a few days prior, and skip alcohol and blood thinners the day before if possible.

What's the aftercare?

Gentle cleansing, SPF, and avoiding retinol and exfoliating acids for several days while skin heals. We'll send you home with specific instructions and product guidance for your skin.
